Alcohol FreE-Days

The Safar-E-Days theme has proven to be less of a hit than was desired. This, coupled with major dissatisfaction on the package pricing and limited quantities has lead the E-Days committee to officially re-designate this year's festivities as "Alcohol FreE-Days."
The idea has been proposed numerous times in years past. The group MADD (Mother's Against Drunk Driving) proposed the idea about eight years ago to curb the copious alcohol consumption that has traditionally been tied to E-Days. It has not succeeded in years past due to overwhelming support for other themes. Last year MADD gave up, and has since been boycotting our fair campus. This led a small group to break off from MADD and form SMCFP (Segregate Mothers and Concubines For Prohibition), in order to push their radical ideas.
This year is different. No one has showed any support for the old Safar-E-Days. With this lack of party cohesion, SMCFP has stepped in and won the day. Alcohol Fre-E-Days is now a reality. The school has returned all money that Coors has donated and replaced its sponsorship with a group of various Root-Beer companies. In a last ditch effort, Coors has petitioned to have its "Near-Beer" be served at the events.
With this drastic change, the student body's reaction is still unknown. It is believed thought that the Coors Short Tour rates will go through the roof as the campus goes dry. SMCFP has dubbed those who will attend the short tours "Deserters."
